AndreYah Black Ministries Int'l leads Worship Conference ~ East Africa 2009

This is our third annual conference in Kampala the capital of Uganda, Africa. I've been invited since 2007 by the founder of the church to lead an annual conference for one week. Please enjoy these selected pictures from our Crusade from September 27 - October 2nd, 2009. Here you will see people from many villages in Uganda who received deliverance during the prophetic songs by Psalmist Evan. AM Black singing in the 'Holies of Holies'. The anointed good news of teaching and preaching also brought transformation to the attendees as well. Blind eyes opened, legs grew out, crippled walked, the deaf could hear, many who were sick for years where healed, many heightened their worship and prayer lifestyle, deeper wisdom, deliverance and transformation was received by everyone. Every year we experience mighty miracles and marvelous the Lords glory!

CONCERT BENEFIT FOR MISSIONS IN AFRICA -THE ANDREYA BLACK TRIO -

This September, international evangelist, missionary, and psalmist/singer/songwriter, Andreya Black will lead her acclaimed New York trio in a special benefit concert at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stamford, CT. A native of Stamford, CT, this accomplished recording artist uses her passion for music to raise awareness and funding for mission tours to Africa through which she launches innovative projects to improve the lives of those less fortunate. Proceeds of the concert will help fund Andreya’s next mission trip to Africa which commences on September 27 and includes her participation in a Worship Conference in Kampala, Uganda and a Seminar in Nigeria where she will provide words of inspiration and hope to single and widowed women.

The Andreya Black Trio will perform a selection of the artist’s arrangements and favorite spirituals, as well as some original compositions off of her self-titled CD (produced by Dove Award Winner Cliff Branch, leading keyboardists for the Steel Pulse Sidney Mills.) The performance will be held on September 20th at 5 pm, followed by a semi-formal reception.

The TRIO includes Andreya Black on vocals, Bob Cunningham on bass, and Ray Jones Musical Dir. & Pianist. Cunningham is a world renowned musician who has played with Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Betty Carter and more. Jones is a brilliant musical director and pianist for the Transfiguration Church in Harlem, NY who worked with Roberta Flack, Roy Hamilton, Brook Benton, The Platters and more. All three artists are thrilled to be a part of this exciting performance and critical event for Andreya’s missionary work. This is the third time Andreya Black has been invited to motivate and lead thousands of East Africans. During her September 2009 trip, she will also be speaking to West African countries and lead a Worship Crusade and Women’s Conference.

Andreya’s missionary projects in Africa focus on three key areas: sustainability, education, and women’s empowerment. Andreya’s team is working on building a well and growing new crops in the central village in Myuenga, Uganda as well as helping some of the schools in the area by providing funding for them to obtain newer computers, books, school supplies, and more... Many schools are unsanitary and congested with limited to no quality equipment for learning.

Andreya is dedicated to motivating and empowering the women of Uganda. In her past visits to Africa, she launched an empowerment center called the Queens Empowerment Oasis (QEO) for unmarried women and widows who require basic education and work skill training. Initially, the center will serve as a place for women to learn how to sew and make clothing, as seam stressing in Uganda is a highly lucrative occupation. Her vision is to implement a program through which volunteers from the U.S. and Europe can lead online conferences and webinars at the QEO, so students can learn about business, accounting, bookkeeping and other useful business skills. 65 women are currently enrolled in the Queens Empowerment Oasis.

Understanding the Love of God in the New Testament

13:8-13 Charity is much to be preferred to the gifts on which the Corinthians prided themselves. From its longer continuance. It is a grace, lasting as eternity. The present state is a state of childhood, the future that of manhood. Such is the difference between earth and heaven. What narrow views, what confused notions of things, have children when compared with grown men! Thus shall we think of our most valued gifts of this world, when we come to heaven. All things are dark and confused now, compared with what they will be hereafter. They can only be seen as by the reflection in a mirror, or in the description of a riddle; but hereafter our knowledge will be free from all obscurity and error. It is the light of heaven only, that will remove all clouds and darkness that hide the face of God from us. To sum up the excellences of charity, it is preferred not only to gifts, but to other graces, to faith and hope. Faith fixes on the Divine revelation, and assents thereto, relying on the Divine Redeemer. Hope fastens on future happiness, and waits for that; but in heaven, faith will be swallowed up in actual sight, and hope in enjoyment. There is no room to believe and hope, when we see and enjoy. But there, love will be made perfect. There we shall perfectly love God. And there we shall perfectly love one another. Blessed state! how much surpassing the best below! God is love, 1Jo 4:8,16. Where God is to be seen as he is, and face to face, there charity is in its greatest height; there only will it be perfected.
